KUALA LUMPUR, 4 March 2026 – In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Yayasan PETRONAS continues its annual Uplifting Lives Festive (ULF) initiative to spread festive joy to families across Malaysia.
Through the programme, Yayasan PETRONAS is reaching 4,850 families nationwide by providing festive food packs to families as they prepare for the celebration. Distribution which began on 20 February is carried out in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare (JKM) and PETRONAS regional offices, ensuring the timely delivery of festive packs to in need families across Malaysia.
The ULF initiative is part of Yayasan PETRONAS’ Community Wellbeing and Development efforts, in line with the Sejahtera MADANI aspirations.
Shariah Nelly Francis, Chief Executive Officer of Yayasan PETRONAS, shared, “The distribution of festive care packs during major festive celebrations such as Hari Raya Aidilfitri is part of Yayasan PETRONAS’ mission to nurture social well-being by ensuring the underserved communities receive the care and support, particularly during the festive season. This entails meeting families’ essential needs while also promoting sustainable livelihoods through social entrepreneurship. Through ULF, we hope to bring meaningful joy and a sense of shared celebration to those marking this special occasion.”
