About Yayasan PETRONAS
Yayasan PETRONAS is the social impact arm of PETRONAS and a Malaysia-based tax-exempt entity, registered under Subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967.
Our mission is to deliver positive and sustainable impact on the well-being of society across the nation.
We are committed to cultivate empowered, resilient and progressive communities in Malaysia through our three core pillars: Education, Community Well-being & Development, and Environment.

Objectives
Education
We support high-quality Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education and inclusive education support to help Malaysia achieve a national STEM enrollment ratio of 60:40.
Community Well-being & Development
We aim to establish more economic opportunities and improve living standards for underprivileged communities in Malaysia, enhance youth employability, and increase access to high-quality medical care.
Environment
We target the increase of resilience of Malaysian communities vulnerable to climate challenges while reducing year-on-year environmental impact.

Yayasan PETRONAS (“the Foundation”) is established as a non-profit organisation limited by guarantee. PETRONAS will make financial contributions to the Foundation for the sole purpose of implementing its social impact activities.
