Implementation of Climate Education Programme (Regenerative Living Lab)
As part of the Climate Education Programme (CEP) – a key initiative under Yayasan PETRONAS’ Planting Tomorrow Climate Resilience Programme, we invite experienced and credible implementation partners to submit proposals for its design and implementation.
Project Overview
The implementation of the Regenerative Living Lab aims to empower teachers and students to drive environmental stewardship and climate resilience through the establishment of regenerative living lab in schools from the design to end-to-end management.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
Applying organisations would have to ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- A registered non-profit organisation or social enterprise with relevant registration authorities such as the Registry of Societies Malaysia, Companies Commission of Malaysia, Bahagian Hal Ehwal Undang-Undang (BHEUU), relevant Akta Pendaftaran and/or receive social enterprise accreditation from the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (KUSKOP) (if applicable).
- Applicant must be located and operates in Malaysia and must have experience and proven capability in conducting similar project.
- Applicant is able to complete all the forms and documents requested.
- Applicant has the capacity to conduct the scope of work as detailed out in the Request for Proposal (RFP) CEP. Applicants must indicate whether they are able to conduct all or part of the scope of work.
- Applicant is able to comply to the Yayasan PETRONAS’s Terms & Conditions (T&Cs).

Project Application Process Flow
Stage 1:
Proposal Submission
Applicant who fits the criteria to submit the project proposal and relevant documents.
Briefing session will be conducted upon request.
Stage 2:
Proposal Evaluation
Evaluation will be conducted based on criteria by Selection Committee.
Applicant may be contacted for clarification.
Stage 3:
Award
Successful applicant will be notified for the approved scope of works.
YP will issue an agreement based on Terms & Conditions.
Stage 4:
Implementation
Performance of Implementation Partner(s) will be monitored.
Payment to be made based on the milestone achieved and acceptance of deliverables.
Stage 5:
Closing
Implementation Partner(s) to provide closure report.
How to Apply?
Stage 1: Proposal Submission
- Kindly fill in this Application Form and Know Your Counterparty (KYC) form. Kindly download the forms and provide the related supporting documents:
- Proposal Paper using the template provided;
- Proposal Presentation using the template provided;
- Registration Certificate e.g., from The Registry of Societies Malaysia or Companies Commission of Malaysia. Social Enterprises should also provide the Social Enterprise Accreditation (SE.A) recognition from the relevant authorities;
- Brief background introduction to the organisation;
- Organisation profile and chart (including Board / Management committees);
- Audited financial statements or submitted financial cash flow to ROS, where relevant (up to minimum past two years);
- Bank statement with name similar to Registration Certificate (please provide confirmation letter from the bank if the names are not similar);
- Inland Revenue Board certificate showing tax-exempt status (for tax-exempt organisations);
- Other information/ company profile that may assist Yayasan PETRONAS in gaining a better understanding of your proposal (e.g. annual report).
- Applicants also need to read and agree to Yayasan PETRONAS’ terms and conditions (T&Cs) for Request for Proposal (RFP).

- Please note that Yayasan PETRONAS is currently reviewing and updating its standard agreement templates. As part of this process, certain terms and clauses may be revised prior to finalisation.
- Successful applicants in Stage 1 will be contacted via email.
Stage 2: Proposal Evaluation
- Yayasan PETRONAS will schedule a session where shortlisted applicants will present the finalised proposal to the Selection Committee members.
- Successful applicants will be notified via email to proceed to contract negotiation and finalisation stage.
Stage 3: Award
- Yayasan PETRONAS will issue an agreement based on approved scope of work and Terms and Conditions (T&C).
- The appointed implementation partner will implement the scope as per contract agreed by both parties and in close coordination with YP. For every milestone, YP will monitor and evaluate the performance of the partner and quality of deliverables.
