Tengku Mazura holds more than 20 years of experience ranging from corporate, gas and downstream businesses. She joined PETRONAS in 2001 as Legal Officer, Legal Finance and was subsequently appointed as Senior Legal Counsel for Corporate Services. She was a part of the team that dissolved the PETRONAS Retirement Benefit Scheme (PRSB), which was replace with PETRONAS Retirement Contribution Scheme (PRCS). She was also involved in the initial signing of the Mercedes-Benz F1 Sponsorship Agreement in 2009.
As the Head of Corporate Governance and International Compliance, she was instrumental in the development and roll out of PETRONAS Code of Conduct and Business Ethics (CoBe) and Anti Bribery and Compliance Manual (ABC) to PETRONAS groupwide. She was the Head of Legal Finance and was involved in raising financing for various projects for the Group. Notably, she was a key member of the Project Marigold team that had secured USD 10 billion integrated financing for PrefChem Companies. Prior to assuming her current position, Tengku Mazura served as the General Counsel Gas & Power since 1 March 2020. She graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) with a Bachelor of Law with Honours. Her passion is running and floral arrangement.
