Puan Nelly has been with PETRONAS for over 28 years where she has held various management positions and key roles in the company. A true leader at heart, she has a passion for working with young minds from all backgrounds and bringing the best out of them.
Prior to this, Nelly was the Head of Human Capital Investment, where she was responsible for driving PETRONAS’ Education Sponsorship Programme to create a sustainable pipeline of qualified and well-rounded talents of high calibre for the company and nation. In her early years, she has had hands-on experience working on hydrocarbon production-related systems and databases, capability management and data management.
Some of her notable achievements include spearheading the construction project of Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) and Asrama Harian Luar Bandar (AHLB) in Sabah and Sarawak to provide the much-needed access to education for children in rural areas. She also played a key role in fostering and sustaining collaborative working relationship and rapport with the federal and state government authorities to support PETRONAS’ business needs as well as manage stakeholders’ interests.
